Connect Claude and ChatGPT
In claude.ai and ChatGPT you connect InfraNest without a token: you add the MCP server's address, sign in to InfraNest and approve. This works on every plan, Free included. The assistant can then read the organization you picked, and never change anything.
The address is:
https://api.infranest.io/mcpclaude.ai
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and select Add custom connector.
- Name it InfraNest and enter
https://api.infranest.io/mcpas its URL. - Leave Authentication on Sign in now, pick Use Claude's published identity as the OAuth client if Claude has not chosen it already, and select Add. InfraNest then knows it is Claude and shows it as verified. Register automatically works too, but then Claude registers itself and InfraNest can only show it as not verified.
- Select Connect. Claude sends you to InfraNest.
A connector you add on claude.ai is also there in the Claude desktop and mobile apps.
ChatGPT
In ChatGPT's settings, add a custom connector (an MCP server) with the URL https://api.infranest.io/mcp, and connect it. ChatGPT sends you to InfraNest. Custom connectors depend on your ChatGPT plan and settings; ChatGPT's own help describes where to find them.
Approve it in InfraNest
You land on InfraNest's consent page, signed in (sign in first if you are not):
- Pick the organization the assistant may read. It works only there. Your sandbox, with sample data, is a good place to try it first.
- Check what it may see. An assistant asks to read every area; your role in that organization decides what it actually gets, and a struck-out line is something it will not get.
- Select Allow. You go back to the assistant, which can now answer questions about that organization.
The assistant keeps access until you remove it, renewing its access by itself. One that is not used for 30 days has to be connected again. To read a second organization, connect it again and pick the other one. How this works for app builders is in OAuth for integrations.
